The University of Florida's Department of Medicine confirms the efficacy of an air and surface purification technology developed by Puradigm in inactivating SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.
Results from the study show a significant decrease in infectivity of the SARS-Cov-2 virus immediately after exposure to Puradigm's technology.
Researchers found that the virus is inactivated on stainless steel surfaces:
- 73.3% after 15 minutes
- 93.3% after 60 minutes
- 97.7% after 4 hours
- Undetectable after 24 hours
